Meet Our Founders

Starlybek Care Limited was founded by Rebecca Forson and co-founder, Ernest Forson. Starlybek provides supported living accommodation for young people aged 16 to 17 and 18 to 25 years.

Rebecca Forson is a dedicated and highly skilled professional with over 20 years of experience working with children and young adults. She is a qualified teacher with an exceptional educational background, holding a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Primary Education and a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies. Her extensive experience and academic qualifications have solidified her expertise in nurturing young minds and fostering growth in diverse educational and care settings.

Rebecca is a published author of children’s books, channelling her passion for storytelling into works that inspire creativity and imagination in young readers. Her writing reflects her deep understanding of childhood development and her commitment to creating meaningful, engaging experiences for children. Known for her proactive, ambitious, calm, and hardworking nature, Rebecca excels in high-pressure environments while maintaining a compassionate and student-focused approach. Her unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of others led her to establish Starlybek Care, a platform that embodies her passion for empowering young individuals and supporting their developmental journeys.

As a leader and mentor, Rebecca combines her deep understanding of early childhood education with innovative strategies to inspire positive outcomes. Her ability to adapt to individual needs, paired with her dedication to excellence, has earned her respect and admiration among peers, parents, and students alike.

Rebecca’s vision is to continue creating environments where children and young adults can thrive, develop confidence, and achieve their fullest potential while continuing to inspire young minds through her stories and educational initiatives.

Ernest is a highly qualified specialist teacher in Mathematics and Science, with over 16 years of dedicated experience working with young people. He holds an MSc in ICT and also a qualified electrical and electronic engineer. His strong educational background, combined with his impactful work in Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings, has earned him widespread recognition, including the prestigious Jack Petchey Award for Outstanding Service to young people. Committed to fostering inclusive learning environments, Ernest co-partners at Starlybek Care, where he continues to support and empower young people through tailored educational and developmental programs, helping them to enrich their full potential.
